label edge router การใช้

ประโยคมือถือ
  • It refers to the process whereby the outermost label of an MPLS tagged packet is removed by a Label Switch Router ( LSR ) before the packet is passed to an adjacent Label Edge Router ( LER ).
  • MPLS, which has been called " ATM without cells ", has many similarities, at the forwarding level, to ATM . The label edge routers ( LER ) at the edges of an MPLS cloud map between the end-to-end identifier, such as an IP address, and a link-local label.
  • The path begins at a label edge router ( LER ), which makes a decision on which label to prefix to a packet, based on the appropriate FEC . It then forwards the packet along to the next router in the path, which swaps the packet's outer label for another label, and forwards it to the next router.
